How a stag-weekend booking works
It is the same booking as on any other night: one companion, one guest, an agreed length and a price confirmed in writing before she travels. She comes to your hotel room, or to a private room in the apartment the group has rented, and the rest of the party carries on with its own plans. Groom or friend of the groom, it works the same way.

Fitting it into the weekend
A stag weekend has a programme, and a booking works around it.
Before the night out
A short booking early in the evening, before the group sits down to eat, leaves the rest of the night free for the bars.
A dinner of your own
A dinner date gives you three hours away from the group, at a restaurant you choose and back at the hotel afterwards, for €540.
The last night
An overnight of eight hours, at €1,250, suits the final evening of the trip, with breakfast before the train or flight home.

Rentals, hotels and the practical side
Stag groups often rent a whole apartment or a canal house.
